Dalhalla i Rättvik har hamnat på topplistan med världens vackraste arenor. Åtminstone om man ska tro den brittiska evenemangstidskriften Time Out som i slutet av januari listade ”The world’s most beautiful concert venues”.

”Omgiven av tät, smaragdgrön skog”
Så här låter en Dalhalla-beskrivning i Time Out:
– Sweden’s Dalhalla is Europe’s answer to Red Rocks. Located deep in a limestone quarry, the arena has towering rock faces on all sides and is surrounded by dense, emerald forest. At the bottom of the quarry isn’t just a stage, but also a sparkling lake, which only helps add to the magic. It’s not a competition, but Dalhalla’s geology dates back a whopping 360 million years, thanks to a meteorite which crash landed in the area from outer space.
Säsongen 2025 var ett rekordår för Dalhalla i antalet internationella besökare. Nu hoppas man på att den trenden accelererar kommande säsonger.
Dalhalla invigdes 1993 och besöks varje år av mer än 100,000 personer.
